Laboratory Testing
Where Science Meets Intention
At Last Resort Chocolate, our commitment to clean begins in the soil, and continues through every stage of the growing and crafting process. As part of our commitment to producing exceptionally clean, honest chocolate, we sent several soil samples to a university laboratory to analyze our cacao for heavy metals, toxins, and nutrient content.
Our goal is simple: complete transparency, backed by scientific testing.
Soil Testing
Before planting, soil samples from our farm were analyzed to confirm a clean, uncontaminated foundation. All heavy metal levels were found to be well below Hawai‘i Environmental Action Levels (EALs).
